The Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Program was established in 1994, and it is considered one of the first programs at the University of Science and Technology, where the first class graduated in 1999, and the first three batches graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the university are considered the first at the level of public and private universities in Yemen.
The courses included in the program are prepared and applied according to the quality system adopted by the university in accordance with international quality systems. The main objective of the program is to graduate a cadre capable of providing therapeutic and research services in the community, with the knowledge and skills it has acquired, as well as theoretical and practical experiences.

The internship program at the main center in Aden began in 2023. Two cohorts have graduated so far: the first cohort in 2023 comprised approximately 100 students, while the second cohort in 2024 had approximately 120 students. Currently, the internship program's third cohort, for the year 2025, includes approximately 160 students.
The Department of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology offers a Master of Science in Dentistry program to build upon the experience of the Bachelor’s degree. It continues to partner with the Faculty of Dentistry at Tanta University in Egypt, which has been in place from 2008 until now and has graduated two batches (approximately 30 students in various dental specialties).

Clinics: Currently, there are eight fully equipped clinics with state-of-the-art facilities, along with all the necessary practical materials for clinical training. Two new clinics are currently under construction, and work is underway to upgrade the university hospital to enhance its clinical capabilities.
Advanced equipment : The department features a dental microscope, a digital printer, two fully equipped radiology labs, two sterilization rooms, and a panoramic X-ray machine, all of which contribute to enhancing the practical and research aspects of the program.
The college accepts high school holders in the Republic of Yemen, or its equivalent, at the rate determined annually by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Submit all the required documents, certified with the application for admission to the university, to the Admission and Registration Department.
Admission is made according to the capacity specified by the university and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The student undertakes to abide by the regulations, instructions and regulations of the university in force during the study.
Students enrolled in some college programs are subject to differentiation tests, which are a criterion for college admission, and this is done through placement determination, a personal interview, as well as a GPA competition and an admission test.

The application form for admission (admission) with all the information included in it is completed, in accordance with the conditions of the university.
The original certified high school certificate or its equivalent, accompanied by a true copy.
If the secondary school is from outside Yemen, it will be baptized (original + copy) from the following authorities:
The Ministry of Education in the country from which the certificate was issued.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from which the certificate is issued.
Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in the country from which the certificate is issued.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry in Aden.
If the high school diploma is from a non-Arab country, it will be translated after ratification and ratification of the translated copy (according to Paragraph No. 3 above), in addition to its equivalency at the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Yemen.

Photocopies of the first eight pages of the passport (for non-Yemenis), provided that the passport is valid for more than one year, with a record of residing in Yemen for at least one year.

Medical industries related to dentistry, and work as delegates or scientific supervisors in dental materials and devices companies.
Dental research and development.
Supervisory positions in government departments and medical supplies at the Ministry of Health, government hospitals and clinics, and other government health facilities.
Membership of the teaching staff in colleges and universities.
Supervisory positions in private medical institutions, and other medical professions related to dentistry.
