Our Strategy
In developing change strategies for the university, UST has used the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach. Starting from defining the four strategic objectives according to the four dimensions of BSC, several sub-objectives have been branched out from the four strategic objectives. Each sub-objective is achieved by implementing projects to directly achieve the objective. Indicators have been developed to measure the extent to which sub-objectives have been achieved. The follow-up and evaluation mechanism is implemented regularly and continuously according to the BSC tools previously prepared for this purpose. Through a system of monthly and quarterly reports from all departments and branches of the university, we have developed standards to measure the implementation and success of projects on time. Any deficiencies are corrected through corrective action plans.

Quality & Accreditation

The concept of education quality is one of the most critical concepts of the University of Science and Technology, since its early establishment in 1999; as it represented the first unit to ensure the quality of education in Yemen. This unit is now entitled “Quality Assurance and Accreditation Management”.
