Based on the message and objectives of the University of Science and Technology - Aden in its interest in its graduates, whom it considers its ambassadors wherever they are in the fields of science and work inside and outside Yemen, the idea of the Alumni Club came to contribute to expanding the circle of communication and strengthening the ties of graduates with each other and with the university, and working to convey their suggestions and opinions and benefit from their experiences to strive for continuous development of the educational and research process and the societal role of the university. From this standpoint, the university adopted a specialized unit in the Alumni Club.

The Alumni Club seeks to connect graduates with the university, maintain the continuity of the relationship and communication between graduates and the university, implement several activities for graduates, publish graduate news on the club's digital platforms, and prepare graduates to seize professional opportunities and participate effectively in the labor market by developing their technical and cognitive skills, and other important skills, such as: communication skills, management, problem solving, teamwork, interview preparation, and others.

• Students of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Science and Technology participated in the competition organized by the Global Health Engineering Company, and won sixth place with their design of a low-cost current leakage testing device.

• The administration of the University of Science and Technology branch in Taiz, in coordination with the Student Affairs Department, honored the top students in the academic levels from various departments and scientific specializations in the branch for the academic year 2019-2020 AD.

Since its inception, the University of Science and Technology has paid great attention to providing service to the community in the field of public services and medical services related to various colleges and centers. Its participation in raising the level of community welfare, eradicating poverty, providing maternity care, and establishing scholarships for deserving students are among the few examples of its active participation in community affairs.

Keen on the necessity of finding a means of communication between students and civil society institutions, and bridging the gap between university education and the labor market, the University of Science and Technology is always working to achieve career guidance for students; with the aim of developing the individual and collective skills of university students, and providing them with skills related to professional aspects, in addition to deepening their knowledge of themselves, increasing their confidence in their abilities, and training students professionally, and preparing them to enter the labor market, by holding courses and workshops that help them develop their skills, such as training them on how to prepare a CV, and how to deal correctly with job interviews.
