The Department of Health Sciences is holding a training course on how to write a research plan.

The Department of Health Sciences at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden held a training course entitled “How to Write a Research Plan”, targeting fourth-level students in the specializations of Medical Laboratories and Therapeutic Nutrition and Diets; with the aim of enhancing the skills of writing scientific research plans, in accordancewith the approved academic standards. At the opening of the session, the Head of the Health Sciences Department stressed the importance of preparing the research plan as the basic pillar upon which any successful research project is built, emphasizing the need to master this aspect to ensure the quality of scientific research and its outputs. The course was presented by Professors Dr. Sumaya Qutbi Mohammed and Dr. Ali Nasser Al-Yafai. They covered the practical steps of writing a research proposal, including: selecting a topic, defining and clearly formulating the research problem, and establishing a theoretical framework. They emphasized the importance of reviewing previous literature and its role in guiding the research. They also addressed research methodology, including identifying the methods and tools used for data collection and analysis, and explained how to formulate precise and measurable research objectives. The course also included instruction on developing a detailed timeline and selecting appropriate scientific sources.
