Researcher Adel Al-Murshidi achieved a scientific accomplishment by obtaining a Master's degree in Business Administration with honors from the University of Science and Technology. This achievement came as a result of diligent efforts and in-depth research conducted by Al-Murshidi in his thesis entitled “The Role of Public Relations Management in Improving the Mental Image of University Students: A Field Study on Students of the University of Science and Technology” to highlight the importance of the role of public relations in building a positive image of educational institutions. Through his field study, researcher Adel Al-Murshidi was able to reveal the close relationship between public relations management and the mental image of the university among students. The results of the study showed that the application of effective public relations strategies contributes greatly to enhancing trust and loyalty among students, and improving the reputation of the university among different segments of society. In his thesis, the researcher presented a set of important recommendations to enhance the role of public relations management in universities, which would contribute to achieving the university’s strategic goals. The discussion committee, which consisted of Dr. Hussein Al-Jahouri as chairman and supervisor from the University of Science and Technology, Dr. Aaid Al-Muqatri as internal examiner from the University of Science and Technology, and Dr. Anwar Musaybah as external examiner from Seiyun University, praised the achievement of the student Adel Al-Murshidi, stressing the importance of such research in developing academic work and enhancing the university’s position. The results of this study are expected to contribute to increased interest in the role of public relations in universities, and to encourage educational institutions to invest in this vital area.
