Implementing a training course in dental implants

The Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Excellence Program at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden implemented the fourth training course in the field of dental implants. The course was conducted by Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Wasabi, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Dentistry and Specialist in Oral Medicine, Periodontal Surgery and Dental Implants. The course, in its theoretical and practical aspects (pre-clinical training), lasted for three days, and was attended by intern doctors from the current batch of the program and from outside the university as well. The course program included an explanation of the basics of dental implants, and dealing with various cases: starting from diagnosis, taking the medical history, reading CBCT scans, and up to surgical procedures. The participating doctors were also introduced to three different dental implant systems, and received hands-on training in performing real implant procedures by all trainees. #University_of_Science_and_Technology_Center_President_Aden
