The university is hosting a committee from the Academic Accreditation Council to evaluate a number of its programs.

On Sunday, April 13, 2025, the University of Science and Technology – Main Center Aden received the periodic evaluation committee from the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, as part of monitoring the compliance of the programs under evaluation with the licensing requirements, in accordance with the laws and regulations. The evaluation included: the Master of Science in Dentistry program, and the two Bachelor’s programs in the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education: “International Business Administration” and “Financial and Banking Sciences”. The committee included: Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Seba’i, Prof. Dr. Al-Aas Abdul Majeed Al-Abadi, and Prof. Dr. Adnan Al-Sanawi. An official meeting was held with the committee, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid, Acting President of the University, and a number of academic leaders. During the meeting, a presentation was given on the university’s experience in the field of e-learning and its development in this field during recent years, presented by Dr. Nabil Mansour, Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education. The committee also visited the various facilities that serve the academic programs under evaluation, and reviewed the available capabilities and infrastructure, in addition to listening to brief presentations on the academic and administrative aspects of each program. The committee conducted its technical and scientific evaluation of the programs in accordance with the standards approved by the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education.
