(scopus) Steps to include scientific journals in a database

As part of the University of Science and Technology’s efforts – Main Center – Aden, to develop scientific research and enhance its international standing, the university participated in the course “Steps to List Scientific Journals in the Scopus Database”, which was organized in Jordan by the Association of Arab Universities in cooperation with Elsevier. The course included an introduction to the journal development project and the steps to list journals in global databases, especially Scopus. Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Maamari, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Social Studies issued by the university, participated in the course. It is worth noting that the university publishes five scientific journals, which are: Journal of Social Studies issued by the College of Administrative Sciences. https://journals.ust.edu/index.php/JSS Science and Technology Journal issued by the College of Engineering. https://journals.ust.edu/index.php/JST Yemeni Journal of Medical Sciences issued by the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. https://journals.ust.edu/index.php/yjms International Journal of Excellence Development issued by the Center for Excellence Development. https://journals.ust.edu/index.php/IJTD The Arab Journal for Quality Assurance in Higher Education issued by the Association of Arab Universities and supervised by the University. https://journals.ust.edu/index.php/AJQAHE They are all indexed journals in many indexing bodies and subject to peer review.
