Implementing an artistic and recreational activity at the Safe Childhood Center for Orphans

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, the Scientific Activities and Community Service Committee of the Faculty of Engineering and Computers at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden organized a special artistic and recreational activity to serve the community at the Safe Childhood Center for Orphans, with the participation of many students of Interior Design Engineering, Architecture, and Graphic Design, as it was a day full of creativity and joy. The activities included painting on the walls to add an aesthetic touch to the house, face painting which spread joy among the children, in addition to drawing and coloring activities and interactive games that helped them unleash their creativity and express themselves. This activity had a clear positive effect on the children’s psyches, as they felt cared for and loved, which raised their self-confidence and created an atmosphere full of vitality and happiness. This activity also contributed to improving the mental health of children through creative activities that stimulate self-expression, create a joyful environment, and activate positive communication between the community and the orphanage; thus enhancing the role of the university and students in serving the community, encouraging children to develop their talents and creative abilities, and contributing to the development of society and the development of human values. The activity was carried out under the supervision of Ms. Hanin Rushdi, Head of the Activities Committee, and with the support of Dr. Khadija Azzi and Mr. Alaa Abdel Habib. #University of Science and Technology
