Diagnostic radiology students continue their practical training in hospitals in Lahj and Aden.

With the aim of completing the clinical and practical training program for third-level students in the Bachelor of Diagnostic Radiology and Medical Imaging specialization at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden, the students carried out a field visit on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, to a number of hospitals and medical centers in the governorates of Lahj and Aden. At Ibn Khaldoun General Hospital in Lahj Governorate, the students continued their training on operating the various devices in the radiology department, including developing and printing devices with their various technologies. They were accompanied during the training by the head of the radiology department at the hospital, Dr. Muhammad Al-Rabih, along with a number of experienced technicians working at the hospital, who provided the students with the necessary guidance and instructions. In the same context, another group of students went to Al-Sadaqa Teaching Hospital in the capital, Aden, where they participated in carrying out radiological examinations for a number of cases, including critical cases in the emergency and internal medicine departments. The students also received a comprehensive explanation from the doctors and technicians at the hospital about the characteristics of the radiology equipment and the features of the operating programs used to produce high-quality images.
