A distinguished scientific visit by Dr. Mulham Abdul Aziz Ali, Consultant Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist, to the University of Science and Technology – Aden

The University of Science and Technology - Aden Main Center received Dr. Mulham Abdul Aziz Ali, Consultant of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, on a distinguished scientific visit, accompanied by a group of specialists in this field. They were received by the Acting President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, and Dr. Amr Essam, representing the Department of Medicine and Surgery and responsible for community service and scientific activities therein. Also participating in receiving them were the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Fatima Qahtan, and the head and members of the teaching staff of the Department of Medicine and Surgery. The visit was well-attended, particularly by third-year students, and by students from other levels in general. Dr. Mulham delivered an engaging scientific lecture on the modern-day disease of obesity, reviewing modern methods for combating it, including the gastric balloon. He also actively discussed several important related topics, welcoming the audience's questions and insightful contributions to the discussion.
