Yemeni heritage presented in a contemporary style by interior design students

Second-level students in the Interior Design Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering and Computers at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden, held a preliminary presentation of projects for the “Furniture Design 1” course, entitled: “Furniture Design with Contemporary Yemeni Heritage”. The projects included furniture designs inspired by traditional Yemeni heritage from several Yemeni governorates and regions, such as Aden, Yafa, Taiz, Sana'a, Marib, and Shibam Hadramawt. These designs were then integrated with a modern style, reflecting the students' creativity and their interest in blending cultural identity with contemporary design, with the aim of reviving Yemeni heritage in a contemporary style. The projects were displayed on the second floor of the College of Engineering and Computer Science building at the university, under the supervision of Ms. Hanin Rushdi and Ms. Zainab Ahmed, and in the presence of the Head of Department, a number of teachers, and students from other levels in the Interior Design and Architectural Engineering departments. #University_of_Science_and_Technology_Center_President_Aden
