The university president visits the Taiz branch and chairs a meeting with the branch administration.

As part of the University of Science and Technology’s commitment to monitoring the progress of academic and administrative work in the various branches of the university, the Acting President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, made an official visit to the university’s branch in Taiz Governorate. During the visit, the university president met with the branch president, Dr. Nael Adeeb Al-Qurashi, and a number of members of the branch's academic and administrative council, where an expanded meeting was held in the presence of the heads of academic and administrative departments. The meeting discussed a number of vital issues related to the start of the 2025-2026 academic year, most notably: registration procedures, overcoming difficulties that may face students or different departments, emphasizing the need to pay attention to the student as a top priority, striving seriously to solve any problems that may hinder his educational journey, and strengthening the branch's infrastructure, especially those directly related to serving the student, in order to ensure a suitable and stimulating educational environment. The meeting also discussed the branch’s role in serving the local community by activating scientific and applied research that addresses community issues and keeps pace with its needs, as well as by holding training and service courses aimed at community members, which enhances the university’s developmental and awareness-raising role. The university president expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Taiz branch, praising the administrative and academic work accomplished, and emphasizing the importance of continuing to provide a distinguished educational service, and enhancing the university’s role as a leading institution in serving both education and society.
