The University of Science and Technology wins second place in the 2024-2025 Quality Week Award.

The University of Science and Technology wins second place in the 2024-2025 Quality Week Award. The University of Science and Technology (main center Aden and its branches) won second place in the Quality Week Effectiveness Award 2024-2025, which was organized by the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, with the participation of (13) public and private universities from various governorates of the Republic. This achievement came in recognition of the university’s excellence in organizing the Quality Week events in 2024–2025, which included awareness and training activities and development initiatives that contributed to promoting a culture of quality and academic accreditation among its members, and consolidating continuous improvement practices in academic and administrative performance. The university was honored and the Shield of Excellence was presented to the Acting President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Professor Dr. Khalid Ahmed Al-Wasabi, the President of the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, Professor Dr. Sawsan Bakhubaira, members of the Council, and a number of leaders of public and private universities, on the sidelines of the signing of programmatic academic accreditation agreements.
