The President of the University of Science and Technology signs a joint cooperation agreement with the Director of Maharat Computer Driving Company - Jordan.

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Acting President of the University of Science and Technology, Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, and the Director of the Jordan-based Computer Skills Company, Professor Ahmed Abu Al-Haija, signed a joint cooperation agreement between the university and the company. Under the agreement, Computer Driving Skills Company – Jordan designates the University of Science and Technology – Aden as an accredited testing center on a non-exclusive basis to conduct computer driving certification tests. The university's accreditation as an authorized testing center allows students to obtain these important certificates from within the university in Aden, without having to travel abroad. In a statement following the signing of the agreement, the Acting President of the University emphasized that this agreement reflects the University's commitment to providing high-level educational and training opportunities that meet international standards in the field of computing and information technology. The agreement signing ceremony was attended by: Assistant President for Academic Affairs Dr. Fatima Qahtan, Assistant President for Student Affairs Dr. Muammar Al-Qatibi, and University Requirements Coordinator Dr. Mukhtar Al-Abyad. It is worth noting that the signing of this agreement comes within the framework of the university’s strategy to establish effective partnerships with leading institutions regionally and internationally, with the aim of developing students’ capabilities and skills, and enhancing their academic and professional opportunities. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
