The President of the University of Science and Technology and the visiting delegation from Al-Jazeera University in Sudan visit the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

The Acting President of the University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, along with a delegation from the Sudanese University of Gezira, represented by the University Director, Prof. Dr. Salah El-Din Mohamed Al-Arabi, and the Director of External Relations and International Cooperation at the University, Mr. Haitham Ibrahim Mohamed, visited the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the capital, Aden. They were received by: the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Educational Affairs, Dr. Khalid Omar Baslim, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Salam Al-Tuwaiji. The Undersecretary for Educational Affairs appreciated the visit of the Sudanese delegation, which is the first Sudanese delegation to visit Yemen since the turbulent events began in Sudan. The Undersecretary also praised the Sudanese model in education. During the meeting, the University of Gezira delegation reviewed the university’s experience in education since its establishment, as well as its experience in continuing education in light of the conflict and war raging in Sudan. The delegation from Al Jazeera University praised the partnership with the University of Science and Technology since its establishment in 1994, commending the infrastructure that the university possesses, represented by modern buildings and laboratories equipped according to academic specifications. For his part, the Acting President of the University of Science and Technology praised the ways of cooperation between the University of Science and Technology and Al-Jazeera University in Sudan, and the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two universities, hoping for more cooperation between Yemeni and Sudanese universities. #University of Science and Technology
