The Director of Al-Jazeera University in Sudan visits the University of Science and Technology – Aden

The Acting President of the University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, received the Director of Al Jazeera University in the brotherly Sudan, Professor Salah Al-Din Muhammad Al-Arabi, who visited the University of Science and Technology at its main center in Aden, on the morning of Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The Director of Al Jazeera University was accompanied on this visit by the Director of External Relations and International Cooperation at the University, Professor Haitham Ibrahim Muhammad, while the visiting delegation was received by the President of the University of Science and Technology, along with: the Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs, Community Centers and Branches, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, and the Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qutaibi. The Acting President of the University of Science and Technology welcomed the visiting delegation, appreciating this visit which comes within the context of the established relations between the two universities. During the meeting, an introductory presentation about the two universities was given, in which it was noted that the first cooperation agreement between the University of Science and Technology and Al Jazeera University was in 1994 AD. The presentation also pointed out that Al Jazeera University was one of the first universities to obtain academic and international accreditation. The meeting included several interventions by deans of colleges and directors of departments at the University of Science and Technology, which focused on discussing various scientific, academic and administrative aspects with the visiting delegation. Following the meeting, the visiting delegation toured the laboratories of the University of Science and Technology, where the Director of Al-Jazeera University praised the laboratories and their modern equipment and devices. The exploratory tour concluded with the visiting delegation’s visit to the ongoing preparations for the university hospital, which the University of Science and Technology intends to open soon. The Director of Al-Jazeera University praised the advanced level of equipment at the hospital, expressing his confidence that the hospital will represent a qualitative addition to the health system in the country. #University of Science and Technology
