Technology companies are seeking to recruit graduates from the University of Science and Technology in Hadramout during an official visit to the university.

This morning, the University of Science and Technology – Hadramout Branch received a high-level delegation from leading technology companies in Yemen and the Arab world, which included Professor Fathi Al-Qadi, Director of Yemen Soft Company – Aden Branch, and the Director of Final Solutions Company, along with Dr. Muhammad Bamatarf, the technical expert and former Dean of the Faculty of Computers at Hadramout University, as part of a visit aimed at providing job opportunities for a number of university graduates in these companies. The delegation was received by Dr. Alawi Al-Saqqaf, the director of the university branch, and his deputy, Dr. Murad Bahadi, where the two sides held an extensive meeting to discuss the possibility of absorbing university graduates into the technical work environment, and ways to facilitate their direct involvement in the labor market through real employment opportunities and specialized training programs. The visiting delegation confirmed that this visit comes within the strategy of technology companies to attract young talents from the outputs of local universities, noting that the University of Science and Technology is one of the distinguished educational institutions that graduates qualified students who possess the skills necessary to keep pace with the requirements of the modern labor market. In his speech, Professor Fathi Al-Aqel explained that YemenSoft Company seeks to provide its staff with new blood from qualified graduates, stressing the importance of linking the academic aspect with practical application in the work environment. For his part, Dr. Mohammed Bamatarf pointed out that this step represents a positive initiative by the private sector to contribute to addressing the challenges of unemployment among graduates, by providing clear career paths for outstanding and distinguished members of the university. For its part, the university administration welcomed this important visit, stressing its full readiness to cooperate with companies in preparing and training graduates according to market needs, in a way that contributes to supporting technical and economic development in the country. This visit is an extension of the university’s vision to build effective partnerships with the private sector and achieve a qualitative shift in linking education with the labor market in a way that serves both students and society.
