On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the University of Science and Technology – Main Center Aden received a high-level official and academic delegation whose visit aimed to learn about the mechanisms followed by the university in the Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Excellence Program, and to learn about its efforts in implementing quality requirements in the program. The visiting delegation consisted of: the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the Educational Affairs Sector, Professor Khalid Omar Baslim, the Director General of Private Higher Education Institutions, Associate Professor Dr. Lotfi Khanbari, the Director General of Governmental Higher Education Institutions, Professor Dr. Lotfi Qais, and a number of Directors General. The delegation also included an academic committee specializing in discussing the dental internship program, consisting of: the Director General of the Republic Hospital Authority in Aden, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Al-Saqqaf, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Aden University, Dr. Muhammad Sheikh Mansour, and the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Aden University, Dr. Khalid Saeed Al-Suwaidi. The visiting delegation was received by: Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, Assistant President of the University for Branches and Community Development Centers, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fatima Qahtan, Head of the Department of Dentistry, Dr. Omar Abdullah Rajih, and Advisor to the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shumairi. The delegation also conducted a field tour of the university, which included the dental laboratories, where they were briefed on the capabilities and equipment that distinguish them, and praised their advanced level that keeps pace with the approved academic requirements, noting that the university provides a modern educational environment that contributes to qualifying outstanding students and preparing them for the labor market according to the highest quality standards. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
