In coordination with the university, the Sirb Development Initiative concludes the university career path identification program within the Masarak project.

British Council, concluded on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the university building in Aden, the “University Path Determination” program, which was organized by the initiative as part of its “Your Path” project, during the period from August 9 to 14, 2025. The program targeted high school graduates and those about to enroll in university, aiming to help them make sound decisions about their academic and professional future, by first understanding their inclinations, and then choosing academic disciplines that suit their skills and future aspirations. The program was inaugurated on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with an introductory speech about the initiative and the project, followed by a welcoming speech delivered by the Dean of the College of Engineering and Computers at the University of Science and Technology, Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf, who emphasized the importance of these programs in developing the capabilities of young people and preparing them for success in their university and professional lives. The program's activities included a training course that addressed basic life skills, such as time management and problem-solving, to help participants adapt to university life and make the right decisions. The program also included a training course entitled: “How to Choose a University Major,” in which participants were provided with international tests and tools to help them understand their personalities and tendencies in order to confidently make their academic decision. The program's activities included knowledge tours for participants between the university's colleges and their specializations, including the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, the College of Engineering and Computers, and the College of Administrative and Human Sciences, in addition to workshops on graphics and artificial intelligence, and field visits to advanced laboratories and facilities. The University of Science and Technology – Aden’s hosting of this training program and its coordinating role with the SERB Development Initiative comes as part of its efforts to support and guide young people in choosing appropriate scientific and professional paths for them, and it also embodies the effectiveness of the university’s partnership with development institutions and civil society organizations. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
