A field visit for therapeutic nutrition students to Al-Jumhuriya Hospital in Aden

Within the framework of the training program dedicated to students of the Therapeutic Nutrition and Dietetics Program in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden, students of the program visited the hospitalization departments at the Republic Hospital Authority in Aden, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. During the visit, the students were briefed on various burn cases treated by the hospital. A detailed explanation was also given to the students about the types and degrees of burns, to enable them to identify appropriate diets that help in cell renewal and boosting the immune system, which contributes to improving the treatment outcomes for patients. In addition, the students were exposed to several other cases in the departments of internal medicine and surgery.
