A delegation from the University of Science and Technology – Aden visits the Academic Accreditation Council

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, a delegation from the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden visited the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education. The visiting university delegation consisted of: Acting President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qutaibi, and Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Fatima Qahtan. Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rumaimah, and Advisor to the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shumairi The visiting delegation was received by the President of the Academic Accreditation Council, Professor Dr. Sawsan Bakhubaira, the Secretary-General of the Academic Accreditation Council, Dr. Anwar Ahmed Qasim, and Council Member Professor Dr. Huda Baslim. The Chairperson of the Academic Accreditation Council welcomed the delegation from the University of Science and Technology, appreciating this visit and praising the great efforts made by the university to obtain academic accreditation for its programs. In turn, the Acting President of the University of Science and Technology praised the pivotal role played by the Academic Accreditation Council, which contributes to developing the quality of education in higher education institutions in our country. Professor Abdul Ghani Hamid added that the University of Science and Technology is keen to continuously develop its programs and adhere to quality standards and academic accreditation for various programs, and that it has taken important steps towards achieving this. During the meeting, the delegation from the University of Science and Technology reviewed with the Academic Accreditation Council the latest developments in what the university has accomplished in preparation for academic accreditation. #University of Science and Technology
